Jack Giam is a news and documentary camera, currently working with the Special Broadcasting Service (SBS). Though still early in his emerging career, Jack has already travelled across Australia, covering a range of breaking and developing stories - from breaking news to more reflective, long-form features.

Outside of his staff role, Jack pursues freelance photography and video commissions that align with his passions. His work often takes him outdoors, where he’s drawn to stories about people’s relationship with adventure and the environment. Jack looks for narratives that reveal something real, unspoken, authentic and sometimes unexpected.
